I work for Burfield Creative based near Bath, Somerset. I work in the SEO and Social Media team but also get involved in the web side of things when required.

  • Conducted extensive on-site optimisation and off-site link building campaigns for a website selling menu cover designs resulting in them gaining page 1 positions for numerous high competition keywords. This has directly contributed to them being the leader in their industry.
  • Managed a team of web designers to build a network of websites for a construction equipment company. They are now number 1 in the search engines and sell a considerable amount more than their nearest competitor

Recent Works

Here are some shots of some of the projects I have worked on. My role in these projects consists of capturing the client needs and requirements and then briefing andf managing the design and development teams. I then conduct on-site optimisation and form an search engine marketing strategy.

I excel in generating new business for web design and internet marketing projects. Being able to understand the clients' needs is a key skill that allows me to plan and create a solution to achieve the aim. Communicating these objectives to the development team is essential for a successful project.

During these projects I played an important role in guiding the various teams towards the common goal. These teams are usually distributed and sometimes geo-outsourced. This requires an even greater level of communication skills and understanding of other cultures and working practices.
